Barclays PLC has announced a significant transaction involving the grant of an option over shares to Stephen Shapiro, the Group General Counsel. Shapiro was granted an option for 10,558 ordinary shares at a price of £1.79 per share, under the Barclays Group SAYE Share Option Scheme on September 12, 2024. This financial move occurs outside a trading venue and marks an initial notification of such a transaction by a key managerial figure in the company.
