Bank of Ireland Executes Major Share Buyback

Bank Of Ireland Group plc (DE:BIRG) has released an update.

Bank of Ireland Group plc has executed a share buyback on 12 September 2024, purchasing 216,831 of its own shares via Euronext Dublin at prices ranging from €9.7760 to €9.9420 per share, with a volume weighted average of €9.8781. These transactions are part of a larger share repurchase program announced earlier in February, aiming to buy back up to €520 million worth of shares. The shares acquired in this buyback will be subsequently cancelled as part of the company’s capital management strategy.
