Bank of Communications Co., Ltd. has announced the official appointment of Mr. Xiao Wei as an independent non-executive director after receiving approval from the National Administration of Financial Regulation. Following the appointment, Mr. Cai Haoyi stepped down from his role as an independent non-executive director and from his committee positions, leaving with no disagreements and having made notable contributions during his tenure. Mr. Xiao will also chair the Personnel and Remuneration Committee and join the Risk Management and Related Party Transactions Control Committee.
