Bank of China Limited has announced an adjustment to the dividend rate for its domestic preference shares named ‘Zhong Hang You 4’. The new dividend rate, effective from August 29, 2024, is set at 3.27%, comprising a benchmark interest rate of 1.86% and a fixed interest margin of 1.41%, with dividends to be paid annually. This marks the beginning of the second dividend rate adjustment interval since the non-public issuance of these shares in August 2019.
