Banco Macro SA ( (BMA) ) just unveiled an announcement.

At a shareholders’ meeting held on April 8, 2026, Banco Macro S.A. approved the separation of a portion of its optional reserve fund for future profit distributions to finance a dividend of AR$147.1 billion in constant February 28, 2026 currency, equivalent to AR$217.33 per share and subject to a 7% income tax withholding. The bank stressed that these are distributable profits from audited 2025 earnings, that the payout complies with the Central Bank’s Communiqué “A” 8410, and that, once BCRA authorization is obtained, the dividend will be paid in up to three equal, non-cumulative monthly installments starting in May, preserving regulatory commitments while returning capital to shareholders.
