The latest announcement is out from PIERER Mobility AG ( (CH:BMAG) ).

Bajaj Mobility AG reported a sharp turnaround in the first quarter of 2026, with group revenue jumping 70.2% to EUR 331.3 million on the back of a 125.1% surge in motorcycle unit sales and a 151.6% rise in motorcycle revenue to EUR 272.4 million. Restructuring measures, including a decisive pivot away from bicycles, reduced complexity and inventory, helping EBITDA swing into positive territory at EUR 5.5 million and narrowing EBIT losses, even as the company initiated a reduction of 500 mainly salaried and middle-management positions.

The group further shored up its balance sheet as KTM AG secured a EUR 550 million, five-year unsecured refinancing from an international banking consortium, allowing repayment of a roughly EUR 473 million restructuring loan to Bajaj Auto International Holdings and strengthening financial flexibility. Management was bolstered with new senior commercial and sales appointments, while high-profile motorsport victories, including KTM’s 21st Dakar Rally win, reinforced the brands’ performance credentials as the company seeks to leverage momentum for higher efficiency and sustainable profitability through 2026.
