Azenta Announces CEO Stephen Schwartz’s Retirement and Transition Plan

Azenta (AZTA) just unveiled an update.

Dr. Stephen Schwartz has announced his retirement as President, CEO, and director of Azenta, Inc. after 14 years, staying on until a successor is appointed and then advising to ensure a smooth transition. His departure is amicable, with no disagreements with the company’s policies. A transition agreement is in place that includes continuation of salary and benefits, with a potential consulting role until November 2025. Azenta has issued a press release confirming the retirement and is actively searching for a new CEO.
