Awale Resources Limited ( (TSE:ARIC) ) has issued an update.
Awalé Resources has reported new drilling results from the BBM gold-copper discovery at its Odienné Project in Côte d’Ivoire, confirming thick, consistent mineralization including 2.0 g/t gold equivalent over 72 metres and several strong higher-grade intervals. The company has now defined mineralization over about 1.2 kilometres of strike and beyond 300 metres depth, supporting plans for an initial Mineral Resource Estimate in the second quarter of 2026.
Alongside ongoing resource drilling, Awalé has completed an 11-hole, 7,000-metre step-down program to test the high-grade core of BBM down to roughly 600 metres, with assays pending that will be critical in evaluating the underground potential and overall scale of the system. Management believes these results could help BBM emerge as one of the largest gold-copper deposits in West Africa, which, if confirmed, would materially enhance the company’s growth prospects and strategic standing in the regional mining sector.
The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:ARIC) stock is a Hold with a C$0.81 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Awale Resources Limited stock, see the TSE:ARIC Stock Forecast page.
Spark’s Take on TSE:ARIC Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, TSE:ARIC is a Neutral.
The score is primarily held back by weak financial performance (losses and ongoing cash burn) despite a strong, low-debt balance sheet. Technicals are a notable positive with price above key moving averages and supportive momentum indicators, while valuation is constrained by the company’s loss-making profile and lack of dividend yield.
