Avnet Announces New Board Members and Audit Committee Appointments

Avnet (AVT) just unveiled an update.

On August 15, 2024, Avnet, Inc. will welcome Virginia L. Henkels and Helmut Gassel to its Board of Directors, both of whom will also join the Audit Committee. They were appointed without any external arrangements and will receive the standard compensation for non-employee directors. Additionally, the company will sign an Indemnification Agreement with the new directors, consistent with previous company practices. This management change was publicly announced via a press release by the company.
