Avicanna (TSE:AVCN) has released an update.

Avicanna Inc., a biopharmaceutical company, has successfully completed a non-brokered private placement, raising $1.986 million through the sale of over 6.6 million units. These funds are earmarked for general working capital, administrative expenses, production, research, and debt repayment. The offering included common shares and warrants, with a hold period of four months in Canada.
