Avacta Group plc, a UK-based life sciences company, has applied for a block listing on AIM to issue over 6.6 million new ordinary shares, which will be available upon the exercise of options under the company’s share schemes. The shares will be admitted to trading with the same rights as existing shares and this move is part of Avacta’s ongoing strategy to support its innovative oncology drug development and diagnostics divisions. The company has announced that this block listing is expected to become effective on April 26, 2024, and they will continue to report on the admission’s utilization every six months.
