Australian Silica Quartz Group Limited has initiated a drilling project at its Quartz Hill MGSi Project to obtain samples for detailed metallurgical testing. These tests aim to determine the viability of the high-purity quartz resource for supporting a proposed state-of-the-art polysilicon manufacturing facility by Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners near Townsville, Queensland. The project, which boasts a significant mineral resource estimate, is part of a strategic partnership and is fully funded by Quinbrook’s investment.
