Australian Pacific Coal Limited has announced the successful overhaul and deployment of its first continuous miner at the Dartbrook mine, aiming to produce a bulk sample for metallurgical coal analysis with results expected by Q3 2024. The company has also secured a Greenfields Enterprise Agreement with the Mining and Energy Union, setting the stage for future mining operations and transitioning from restoration to production. This marks the first underground mining activity at Dartbrook since it was placed into care and maintenance in 2006, representing a significant milestone for the site.
