Australian Foundation Investment Company Limited reported a net profit of $285.0 million for the year ended 30 June 2025, a decrease of 3.9% compared to the previous year. Despite the decline in net profit, the company maintained a fully franked final dividend of 14.5 cents per share and announced a special dividend of 5 cents per share, reflecting capital gains from the sale of Commonwealth Bank of Australia shares. The total dividend for the year increased to 31.5 cents per share, up from 26 cents the previous year, indicating a strategic distribution of capital gains to shareholders.
