Austal Limited has announced the appointment of Michelle Kruger as the President of Austal USA, a role she has filled on an interim basis since July 2023 and will now take on permanently. Kruger, who joined Austal USA in 2022 and has over 25 years of maritime industry experience, has been instrumental in developing key business strategies and partnerships, as well as overseeing major projects such as Austal USA’s new San Diego facility and a substantial dry dock delivery. Her leadership is expected to further Austal USA’s position as a leading shipbuilder and service provider for the US Navy and Coast Guard.
