Aurwest Sells Copper-Moly Project, Joins Interra Board

Aurwest Resources (TSE:AWR) has released an update.

Aurwest Resources Corporation has agreed to sell its Stars Property, a promising porphyry copper-molybdenum project in British Columbia, to Interra Copper Corp. for $1.1 million in cash and equity. The deal will make Aurwest a significant shareholder in Interra, and its CEO Cameron MacDonald will join Interra’s board of directors. The transaction is pending Aurwest shareholder approval, with a meeting to be scheduled.
