The latest update is out from Aurwest Resources ( (TSE:AWR) ).
Aurwest Resources Corporation has expanded its board with the appointment of investor and entrepreneur Scott Hurd and mineral exploration executive Reagan Glazier as directors, effective immediately. The company expects the new directors to support its next phase of operational growth alongside existing management.
Hurd brings more than 15 years of capital markets, private equity, and resource and infrastructure experience, including over $1 billion in institutional capital deployment and a background in investment banking and principal investing. Glazier contributes nearly two decades of gold, copper, base metal, and rare-earth exploration experience across the Americas, along with multiple board roles and leadership of another resource company.
Interim President and CEO Cameron MacDonald said the additions are intended to bolster Aurwest’s capital markets expertise, governance, risk management, and technical and operational leadership. The strengthened board composition underscores Aurwest’s efforts to position itself for growth in Canada’s mineral exploration sector and to advance its strategic initiatives in gold exploration and development.
