Aurora Investment Trust PLC has announced a strategic asset combination with Artemis Alpha Trust plc, aiming to form an enlarged fund with increased net assets and enhanced market liquidity. The proposed merger is expected to benefit shareholders with lower ongoing charges and is contingent on shareholder and regulatory approvals. Additionally, the fund manager, Phoenix, has committed to a substantial cost contribution towards the initiative.
