Aurelia Metals Limited has announced delays in its Federation Project due to recent heavy rainfall leading to a temporary halt in underground development, with the risk that first ore extraction could shift from Q1 to Q2 of FY25. Despite the setbacks, the company has completed key surface infrastructure and is focused on completing a new water management dam and other surface earthworks. The managing director expressed confidence in the team’s ability to overcome these short-term challenges without exceeding the approved capital cost.
