Aureka Limited ( (AU:AKA) ) has issued an announcement.
Aureka Limited has reported new high-grade gold and silver assay results from recent diamond drilling at its St Arnaud Comstock project in Victoria, including its highest silver grade to date at 650 grams per tonne and a shallow visible gold intercept of 31.5 grams per tonne. The company says these intercepts lie outside the current 56,000-ounce inferred resource and point to new mineralised structures near the existing open pit, potentially enhancing the project’s economics and supporting pathways to near-term, small-scale production as management advances commercialisation options for Comstock.
The latest results build on a 2025 drilling campaign that already delivered multiple high-grade gold intercepts north of the pit, reinforcing Comstock’s prospectivity and expanding its metal profile to include significant silver. Management highlights that the growing footprint of mineralisation to the north and west, combined with the newly identified silver component, may increase optionality for development strategies and strengthen Aureka’s strategic position within the historic but still underexplored St Arnaud goldfield.
