Aurania Resources Ltd. has announced the discovery of high-grade nickel deposits in beach placers in Northern Corsica, France, and has signed MOUs for their exploitation. The deposits, revealed by simple gold panning and magnetic concentration methods, have yielded nickel grades surpassing known hard rock deposits. The company’s management and consultant geologist have coordinated with French authorities and utilized historical data and modern satellite imagery to confirm the presence of these valuable minerals.
