Aura Energy Advances Exploitation Permit in Sweden

Aura Energy Limited (AU:AEE) has released an update.

Aura Energy Limited has submitted an application for an exploitation permit for its Häggån Project in Sweden, which is poised to contribute significantly to the country’s sustainable minerals strategy and economic growth. The project estimates a substantial net present value and contains a large-scale polymetallic mineral resource, including over 800 million pounds of uranium, which could see increased value if Sweden’s ban on uranium mining is lifted. While uranium has not been factored into the project’s exploitation plans due to the current ban, its inclusion could potentially elevate the project’s economic prospects.
