Atomic Minerals Corporation ( (TSE:ATOM) ) has issued an announcement.
Atomic Minerals has completed an airborne gradient magnetometer survey over most of its 26,073.5-hectare Mozzie Lake uranium project in northern Saskatchewan, with contractor Axiom Exploration flying 2,019.6 line kilometres of a planned 2,963 kilometres at 100-metre spacing despite poor weather. The company expects imminent 3D inversion and logistics reports to help pinpoint structures hosting uranium mineralization and potential repeats across the property, enabling fully funded follow-up ground work at a site with a historical, non-current uranium estimate dating back to 1960s drilling.
Management says the acquired dataset shows good integrity and quality, which should improve targeting and de-risk future exploration decisions at Mozzie Lake relative to its historical drill-indicated estimate. The work underlines Atomic Minerals’ broader strategy of advancing technically prospective uranium assets in proven districts, potentially strengthening its position in the junior uranium sector as it refines drill targets and allocates exploration capital across its North American portfolio.
