The latest announcement is out from Atome Energy PLC ( (GB:ATOM) ).
Atome plc has launched a conditional retail offer of new ordinary shares via platform provider RetailBook, pricing the stock at 60 pence per share, a 34.4% discount to its 22 April closing price. The offer, which sits alongside but separate from an institutional placing, is open to U.K.-based retail investors and existing shareholders through participating brokers and investment platforms, with a minimum subscription of £250 and an overall cap of £500,000.
Completion of the RetailBook offer is contingent on the success of the wider placing and admission of the new shares to trading on AIM, expected on 30 April. Atome plans to use the proceeds to subscribe for US$31 million of new preferred equity in its Villeta green fertiliser project and to bolster working capital, deepening its commitment to low-carbon fertiliser and giving retail investors direct exposure to its key growth initiative.
The most recent analyst rating on (GB:ATOM) stock is a Buy with a £130.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Atome Energy PLC stock, see the GB:ATOM Stock Forecast page.
Spark’s Take on ATOM Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, ATOM is a Neutral.
The score is held back primarily by weak financial performance (pre-revenue status, ongoing losses, and negative free cash flow with continued funding risk), partially offset by relatively strong technical momentum (price above major moving averages with positive MACD). Valuation is also constrained by negative earnings (negative P/E) and lack of a stated dividend yield.
