Atome Energy PLC (GB:ATOM) has released an update.
Atome Energy PLC has announced the successful completion of the critical Front End Engineering Design (FEED) study for its pioneering 145MW green fertiliser facility in Villeta, Paraguay, marking a significant advancement towards the project’s construction. With the FEED study finalized, which is a first for a large-scale green fertiliser project globally, the company is now progressing with off-take and EPC negotiations and anticipates initiating construction by the end of 2024. The Villeta Project, expected to start producing zero-carbon fertiliser by 2027, could significantly contribute to carbon footprint reduction by potentially displacing an estimated 15 million tonnes of CO2 equivalent over its lifespan.
