Atlas Salt’s Great Atlantic Project Clears EA Hurdle

Atlas Salt Inc (TSE:SALT) has released an update.

Atlas Salt Inc. has received approval from the Newfoundland and Labrador Minister of Environment and Climate Change to proceed with the Great Atlantic Salt Project, following a successful environmental assessment. This milestone clears the path for further permitting and the eventual development and production of the mine, which promises to stimulate economic growth and deliver high-quality salt to North American markets. The project, expected to have a 34-year life span producing 2.5 million tonnes of salt annually, has been shaped by public input and is committed to sustainable and community-friendly practices.
