Atlas Salt Inc. has announced a strategic partnership with Scotwood Industries LLC, aiming to co-create a joint venture for the distribution and sale of packaged salt products in Canada, exclusive of bulk road de-icing salt in certain provinces. They plan to reach annual sales volumes of 1.25 to 1.50 million tonnes, depending on market conditions. Scotwood is a leading marketer of salt products in the U.S. and brings extensive experience to the partnership.
