Atlas Copco has acquired the assets related to Stainless Design Concepts, a division of CVD Equipment Corporation that designs and manufactures ultra-high purity gas and liquid chemical delivery and distribution systems for semiconductor and industrial applications. The Saugerties, New York-based unit, which employs 26 people, will be integrated into Atlas Copco’s Semiconductor Equipment division within its Vacuum Technique business area.
The transaction, valued at approximately USD 16.9 million, strengthens Atlas Copco’s position in the semiconductor equipment market by adding specialized ultra-high purity delivery systems to its portfolio. The deal is expected to enhance the group’s offerings to chipmakers and industrial customers that demand highly reliable gas and chemical handling, reinforcing Atlas Copco’s role as a key supplier to advanced manufacturing sectors.
