Atlantic Lithium ( (GB:ALL) ) just unveiled an update.
Atlantic Lithium has secured parliamentary ratification of the mining lease for its Ewoyaa Lithium Project in Ghana, formally approving development of the country’s first lithium mine and processing plant. The lease grants the company exclusive mining and production rights over the project area for an initial 15-year term, renewable under Ghanaian law.
The ratified lease incorporates revised fiscal terms, including alignment of royalty rates and the Growth and Sustainability Levy with current Ghanaian legislation and a new sliding-scale royalty linked to spodumene prices. The approval significantly de-risks the project, clears the way for funding discussions and a final investment decision, and is positioned to deliver returns to shareholders while enhancing socio-economic benefits for Ghana and local communities in the Central Region.
