Athena Resources Begins Drilling at Byro South to Expand Magnetite Resource

Athena Resources Limited ( (AU:AHN) ) just unveiled an update.

Athena Resources Limited has commenced a Reverse Circulation drilling campaign at the Byro South Prospect, part of its Byro Magnetite Project in Western Australia. The campaign aims to further delineate and expand the known magnetite mineralisation, supporting a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate. This drilling program, consisting of approximately 1,100 metres across eight planned drill holes, builds on previous drilling efforts and metallurgical testwork. The results are expected to enhance the understanding of the scale and quality of the magnetite mineralisation, with assay results anticipated one month after submission. The initiative underscores Byro South as a significant target for magnetite, complementing the findings of the Byro Project Scoping Study.
