Aspen Aerogels, Inc. has solidified its leadership by renewing President and CEO Donald R. Young’s contract until August 2027, with potential annual extensions. Young retains a $515,000 salary, with bonus opportunities exceeding 110% of that figure, and remains eligible for long-term incentives and standard company benefits. Moreover, the agreement outlines significant severance benefits, including a double payout of salary and target bonus, healthcare coverage, and equity acceleration under certain termination conditions. Additionally, Young agrees to customary post-employment restrictions to protect the company’s interests.
