ASICS Corporation has announced plans to establish a ‘General Incorporated Foundation’ aimed at promoting the physical and mental health of people through sports, particularly for those facing social or economic challenges. The Foundation will offer grants and support to various organizations and plans to utilize a third-party benefit trust for funding its activities, with a proposed treasury share disposal that will be less than 1% of the total shares. This initiative is part of ASICS’ VISION 2030 to contribute to society and enhance corporate value by fostering a sports culture globally.
