Asia Television Holdings Limited’s recent rights issue was undersubscribed by approximately 78.56%, leading to compensatory arrangements where 514,978,313 unsubscribed shares were successfully placed with five independent placees at the same price as the subscription. This development resulted in the rights issue and subsequent share placement becoming unconditional, with the company raising gross proceeds of about HK$51.50 million before expenses.
