Asia Standard International Group ( (HK:0129) ) has issued an announcement.
Asia Orient Holdings Limited and Asia Standard International Group Limited issued a joint voluntary announcement to address media speculation about refinancing challenges for a HK$1.36 billion loan facility maturing on 27 May 2026. They clarified that only HK$760 million of principal requires refinancing and that five of the six lending banks have already granted official approvals.
The companies added that discussions are ongoing with the remaining bank, which accounts for about 14% of the principal amount under the proposed refinancing. They indicated that further announcements will be made in line with Hong Kong listing and securities regulations, signalling an effort to reassure investors and other stakeholders about the progress and stability of the group’s refinancing plans.
