Asia Energy Logistics Group Limited reported a significant loss in their interim results for the first half of 2024, with a total loss of HK$22,212,000 compared to a profit of HK$65,000 in the same period last year. The loss is largely due to a decrease in revenue, higher costs in several areas, and losses on the disposal of financial assets. The company did, however, report a profit from discontinued operations, which amounted to HK$13,686,000.
