Ashtead Group plc has announced a significant share repurchase, buying back 4,000 of its ordinary shares on April 23rd, 2024 as part of its $500 million share repurchase program launched in May 2023. The transaction involved shares of 10 pence each, with an average purchase price of 5,667 pence per share. This buyback has reduced the number of outstanding shares, excluding those held in Treasury, to 437,302,744.
