Ashtead Group PLC has announced the upcoming retirement of CFO Michael Pratt in September 2025 and the appointment of Alex Pease as his successor starting October 2024. Pease, a former CFO of WestRock Company and ex-US Navy SEAL, brings over two decades of experience in finance and corporate strategy to support Ashtead’s Sunbelt 4.0 strategy. The transition period will include close collaboration between Pratt and Pease to ensure a smooth handover.
