Ashoka India Equity Trust Issues New Shares

Ashoka India Equity Investment Trust Plc (GB:AIE) has released an update.

Ashoka India Equity Investment Trust Plc has announced the issuance of 100,000 new ordinary shares at a price of 291.20 pence each, which is a premium over the current net asset value. This move increases the company’s issued share capital to 161,232,397 ordinary shares, all of which carry voting rights. Investors are encouraged to use this new total for any necessary notifications in line with the Financial Conduct Authority’s rules.
