Ashoka India Equity Investment Trust Plc has announced the issuance of 100,000 new ordinary shares at a price of 280.60 pence each, which represents a premium to the net asset value. This issuance expands the company’s issued share capital to 159,127,397 shares, all carrying voting rights. Shareholders may use this new total to assess changes in their ownership stake in compliance with the Financial Conduct Authority’s rules.
