Ashoka India Equity Investment Trust Plc has announced the issuance of 150,000 new ordinary shares at a price of 287.10 pence each, which will be added to the company’s existing share capital for a total of 160,582,397 shares with voting rights. This move is part of the company’s block listing facility and is aimed at expanding their capital base, with the new shares being issued at a premium to the current net asset value.
