Ashoka India Equity Investment Trust Plc has announced the issuance of 100,000 new ordinary shares at a price of 285.50 pence each, which is a premium to the current net asset value. After this issue, the company’s issued share capital now totals 160,882,397 shares, all with voting rights. This move may interest shareholders for their stake calculations in accordance with the Financial Conduct Authority’s rules.
