Ascential PLC has been approached by Informa PLC with a proposal to acquire all of Ascential’s issued and to be issued share capital at 568 pence per share. While there’s no certainty of a firm offer, Ascential’s Board is considering the proposal and may recommend it. Informa must declare its intentions by 20 August 2024 as per the takeover regulations.
