Ascendant Resources Inc. has been selected to join the UNDERCOVER project funded by the European Union, aimed at discovering hidden mineral deposits using advanced geophysical techniques. The focus will be on their Lagoa Salgada Project in Portugal, which could lead to the discovery of critical minerals like zinc, copper, and gold. The project is set to start in early 2025 and is part of the EU’s Horizon Program initiative to innovate in mineral exploration.
