Ascendant Resources Inc. has partnered with the University of Évora to introduce AI and machine learning in mineral exploration, aiming to improve the efficiency and precision of identifying polymetallic mineral deposits. The innovative HYPERMETAL project will be supported by funding under the Portugal 2030 program and will employ advanced hyperspectral technology to create a Digital Twin of the orebody, enhancing exploration at Lagoa Salgada.
