Ascendant Resources Inc. has reached a critical milestone by submitting the final documentation for the Environmental Impact Assessment of its Lagoa Salgada project in Portugal to the Portuguese environmental agency. The submission includes additional requested information and is now awaiting a ‘declaration of conformity’ which, if granted, will be followed by a public consultation and a final evaluation. Success in this stage will allow the project to proceed to the RECAPE phase, signaling a significant step towards the project’s environmental approval.
