Asara Resources Ltd has successfully secured A$1.417 million through a placement with new cornerstone investor Barbet L.L.C FZ, aimed at boosting the exploration and development of the Kada Gold Project in Guinea. The placement will result in Barbet holding approximately 12% of Asara’s shares, and the funds will support a systematic exploration program scheduled to start in the December quarter of 2024. Asara’s engagement with Barbet is anticipated to leverage their expertise in West Africa to enhance the Kada project, which is already estimated to contain nearly one million ounces of gold.
