Golden Rim Resources Ltd ( (AU:AS1) ) has provided an update.
West African gold explorer Asara Resources Limited has appointed its Chief Executive Officer, Matthew Sharples, to the Board as Managing Director and CEO, effective 1 May 2026. The board highlighted Sharples’ role in restarting and advancing exploration at the Kada gold project in Guinea and expanding the company’s footprint in the country.
The move underscores Asara’s emphasis on strong executive leadership as it accelerates its exploration strategy at its flagship Kada project, viewed as pivotal to its next phase of growth. There is no change to Sharples’ remuneration arrangements following the appointment, signalling a focus on continuity while the company advances its resource growth plans and portfolio rationalisation in Guinea and Chile.
