Asante Gold Corporation announced the receipt of net proceeds from a $125 million mezzanine facility, a $50 million gold stream financing, a $10 million non-brokered private placement, and a $5 million senior debt first utilization. This marks the completion of the first stage of funding, totaling approximately $350 million, under a $500 million financing package. The funds will be used for development and growth expenditures at the Bibiani and Chirano mines, a cash payment to Kinross, retirement of short-term liabilities, and general working capital. The completion of this financing package is expected to enhance Asante’s operational capabilities and strengthen its position in the gold mining industry.
