An update from Asante Gold ( (TSE:ASE) ) is now available.

Asante Gold reported that both its Bibiani and Chirano mines are showing operational momentum, with seven consecutive monthly increases in gold output at Bibiani and consolidated production above 20,000 ounces in January and February 2026. Full-year 2025 production met revised guidance, and management expects 2026 to be a transformational year as equipment fleets, sulphide processing and underground development ramp up.

At Bibiani, material movement has risen to 6.5 million tonnes a month and a nearly fully mobilized fleet, dewatering improvements and pit re-engineering are supporting higher productivity despite a southeast wall slip that will temporarily lower mill feed grades in early 2026. Higher-grade ore is expected to return in the second quarter, while strengthened fleets at both the Main and Russel pits are set to improve ore output, underpinning a gradual production ramp-up through the rest of the year.

The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:ASE) stock is a Sell with a C$1.50 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Asante Gold stock, see the TSE:ASE Stock Forecast page.

Spark’s Take on ASE Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, ASE is a Neutral.

The score is weighed down primarily by very weak TTM profitability, sharply higher leverage, and a swing to negative operating/free cash flow, which together raise sustainability and financing risk. Technicals also show a weak price trend and bearish momentum, though oversold indicators suggest a potential near-term bounce. Valuation is not supportive given the negative P/E and lack of dividend yield data.
