Artemis Gold Inc. has announced the lifting of the wildfire evacuation order near its Blackwater Mine, with plans to quickly resume full construction following a brief hiatus due to the wildfires. The return of employees and contractors will be phased, and since the mine site was unaffected and all access roads are clear, the company expects a swift ramp-up to full capacity. This comes as the Blackwater project, a major investment in central British Columbia, is on track for its first gold and silver pour in the second half of 2024.
